Privacy Policy: Job Hunter Ultimate

Effective Date: December 20, 2025

1. Introduction

Job Hunter Ultimate ("we," "us," or "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains our practices regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of information through our Chrome Extension. Our extension has a Single Purpose: to provide real-time job monitoring and application assistance for professional freelancers on Upwork.

2. Information Collection

To provide our core functionality, the extension interacts with and collects the following data:

  • Website Content: The extension scrapes and processes job-related text from Upwork and Freelancer.com, including job titles, descriptions, budget amounts, and client metadata (e.g., payment verification status and location).

  • User-Provided Functional Data: We store custom cover letter templates and user preferences (such as sound selections and scan intervals) that you specifically enter into the extension.

  • Technical Identifiers: We maintain a local record of "seen" job URLs to ensure you do not receive duplicate alerts for the same project.

3. How Data is Collected and Stored

  • Local Processing: All data collection and processing occur locally on your device. We use DOMParser and the fetch API to analyze job feeds directly within your browser session.

  • Local Storage: All collected information, including job history and templates, is stored locally using the chrome.storage.local API. We do not use external servers to store your personal information or browsing data.

4. Use of Information

The data collected is used strictly to improve and provide the extension's single purpose:

  • To trigger real-time desktop alerts and audio notifications when a matching job is found.

  • To facilitate the "Aggressive Paster" feature, which injects your local templates into job application forms.

  • To filter job results based on your local settings and history.

5. Data Sharing and Third Parties

  • No Selling or Trading: We do not sell, trade, or rent user data to third parties, advertising platforms, or data brokers.

  • No Remote Transmission: The extension does not transmit your data to any external servers. All information remains on your local machine.

  • External Links: The extension provides links to Upwork and Freelancer.com; your interactions with those sites are governed by their respective privacy policies.

6. Data Security

We prioritize the security of your data. By utilizing chrome.storage.local, your data is protected by the browser's internal security sandboxing. We do not handle sensitive authentication information such as passwords or financial credentials.

7. User Control and Data Deletion

You have full control over your data:

  • Deletion: All stored data is automatically deleted if you uninstall the extension.

  • Manual Reset: You can clear your local job history and "seen" records at any time through the extension's settings interface.

8. Contact Information

If you have any questions regarding this Privacy Policy or the data practices of Job Hunter Ultimate, please contact us via our developer profile on the Chrome Web Store.

HVAC Duct Sizing Methods: Imperial & Metric Guide for Engineers.

📐 HVAC Duct Sizing Methods: Imperial & Metric Guide for Engineers Learn how to size HVAC ducts using Equal Friction, Velocity Reduction, and Static Regain methods. Includes formulas, velocity benchmarks, and ASHRAE-compliant tips in both Imperial and Metric systems. 🔍 What Is HVAC Duct Sizing? Duct sizing determines the dimensions of air pathways that deliver conditioned air throughout a building. Proper sizing ensures: Adequate airflow (CFM or L/s) Acceptable velocity (FPM or m/s) Minimal pressure loss Energy-efficient fan operation 📊 Common Duct Sizing Methods 1. Equal Friction Method Used for: Residential and commercial systems Goal: Maintain a constant friction rate across all duct sections Steps: Choose a friction rate: Imperial: 0.1 in.wg per 100 ft Metric: 0.8 Pa/m Use Ductulator/ Mcquay Duct Sizer or charts to find duct size for each airflow rate. Apply the same friction rate throughout the system. Formula: Imperial: Friction Loss = (Total...
